We absolutely loved staying at Montano Hostel in Banos. the owner, Fabricio, is incredibly hospitable and friendly, making us feel right at home. He provided us with a lot of local knowledge and took the time to explain everything. the location of the hostel is amazing, with a stunning view of the volcano. the rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with towels and soap. the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and the WiFi worked well. Fabricio even went above and beyond by driving us to the center when it was raining. a fantastic experience!
We felt like we were at home, with nothing being too much trouble.

The room I stayed in had a balcony with an amazing view of the mountains. It made me feel refreshed and connected with nature, which I absolutely loved as a nature enthusiast. I really enjoyed having a seating area in some units. It was great to have a cozy space where I could relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I didn't like that the double room only had a patio. I like having a balcony to enjoy the view more comfortably.

I had the most amazing time at this lovely hostel! Fabricio, the host, was incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home. the almost-outdoor kitchen was a delightful feature, and I loved the breathtaking sunset views of Tungurahua. the rooms, toilets, showers, and kitchen were all super clean, and the kitchen had everything I needed and more. the location, although not in the center, was still very convenient, with just a 5-minute walk or a short taxi ride. the beautiful views and the friendly and safe atmosphere made it the perfect place to stay in Baños!
Can't think of anything 🤷♀️.
